Mercato: Galatasaray launches race to sign Assane Diao

Driven by their lofty ambitions, Galatasaray are eager to bolster their attacking line ahead of the new season. The Turkish powerhouse has made Assane Diao a top priority and has already initiated talks with Como to secure the Senegalese star.

Assane Diao, just 20 years old, has caught the keen eye of Istanbul’s management. According to multiple Turkish and Italian media outlets, first contact has already been made with the Italian club. The proposal on the table is a paid loan with a permanent purchase option.

Journalist Matteo Moretto has confirmed that talks between the two clubs are already underway. But the race is heating up, as AS Roma are also closely monitoring the Como player’s situation.

So far, no official offer has been made. The deal remains wide open.
