Mercato: Loum Tchaouna joins Coventry City

Loum Tchaouna continues his journey in England. The 22-year-old winger has officially left Burnley FC to sign with Coventry City FC on a permanent transfer.

According to several sources, the deal is valued at £20 million (around €24 million), a signing specifically requested by manager Frank Lampard, who had made the former Lazio player one of his top priorities for the transfer window.

After a challenging season that ended in Burnley's relegation, Loum Tchaouna nevertheless remains in the Premier League thanks to Coventry City, newly promoted to England's top flight.

English manager Frank Lampard was looking to strengthen his flanks with a player capable of bringing pace, penetration, and creativity. Tchaouna's profile fit his expectations perfectly.

Lazio also benefits from the deal

This transfer also works out well for SS Lazio. When the player was sold to Burnley last summer, the Rome-based club had negotiated a 10% sell-on clause for any future transfer.

With the deal estimated at €24 million, Lazio should receive around €2.4 million—a welcome financial boost to continue their own transfer business.
