Mercato: PSG targets Mika Godts, first €45M offer submitted to Ajax

Paris Saint-Germainsteps up its pursuit ofMika Godts. According to Fabrizio Romano, the French champions have submitted an official bid worth over €40 million, with bonuses pushing the total package to approximately €45 million, to sign the Belgian winger from Ajax Amsterdam.

Negotiations between the two clubs are progressing rapidly. While Ajax still values their player at €60 million, the Parisian offer is now closing in on the Dutch club’s demands. For his part, Mika Godts has already given the green light to PSG, and both parties have reached an agreement on the terms of a future contract.

A season that confirmed his immense potential

Mika Godts is coming off the best season of his young career. The Belgian winger established himself as one of Ajax’s main attacking weapons during the 2025-2026 campaign.

Across all competitions, he featured in 47 matches, netting 11 goals and providing 10 assists. In the Eredivisie, he particularly stood out with 9 goals and 8 assists, underlining his ability to make a difference both as a finisher and a creator.

Fast, explosive, and extremely comfortable in one-on-one situations, Godts has emerged as one of the most promising young wingers in European football, which explains the growing interest from top clubs.

A career built between Belgium and the Netherlands

Born in Belgium, Mika Godts was developed at RSC Anderlecht before continuing his progression at KRC Genk. In January 2023, he joined Ajax Amsterdam with the ambition of taking his game to the next level.

After gaining experience with the reserves, he gradually worked his way into the first team and eventually became a key starter. His performances have also earned him call-ups to various Belgian youth national teams, where he is seen as one of the brightest prospects of his generation.

PSG looks to the future of its attack

With this move, PSG reaffirms its intent to invest in high-potential young talents. The arrival of Mika Godts would fit perfectly into the Parisian club’s strategy of strengthening its attacking line with players who can become long-term assets.

Talks are now continuing between Paris and Ajax. The gap between the two clubs has narrowed in recent hours, and a deal could be reached if PSG is willing to make an additional financial effort to get closer to the €60 million demanded by the Amsterdam side.
