Morocco: Achraf Hakimi reveals his idol
The captain of the Moroccan national team and PSG defender, Achraf Hakimi, has revealed which player inspired him the most in the right-back position.
In an interview with Onze Mondial, Achraf Hakimi discussed the evolution of the right-back role in modern football. The Moroccan defender for Paris Saint-Germain explained his hybrid role under Luis Enrique, noting that he sometimes finds himself in much more attacking positions.

"I don't really think about revolutionizing or changing the position. Above all, I focus on playing my football and bringing joy to those who love the game," the Moroccan international said.
He then added:
"In modern football, full-backs are asked to take on different responsibilities: sometimes cutting inside, sometimes covering the entire flank."
Still speaking to Onze Mondial, Achraf Hakimi also paid tribute to Dani Alves:
"For me, he's a role model: he showed how a full-back should play, and I learned a lot from him. I hope the new generation watches me the same way and that I can be an example for them."
