Morocco will lock horns with Nigeria on Wednesday, January 14, in a clash for a spot in the last four of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025).

In the quarter-finals, the Atlas Lions triumphed over Cameroon (2-0). On the other side, the Super Eagles defeated Algeria by the same scoreline.

Morocco is aiming for a second continental crown after their historic triumph in 1976.

Historically, the Moroccan national team has featured in four AFCON semi-finals, with a record of three defeats and just one victory.
