Morocco: Ismael Saibari ruled out against France

Morocco will have to make do without Ismael Saibari for their upcoming clash against France. In a press conference, Atlas Lions head coach Mohamed Ouahbi confirmed the absence of the attacking midfielder, stating that this match comes too soon in his recovery process.

Saibari is not yet fit for the game against France. Morocco's coach Mohamed Ouahbi confirmed this during the pre-match press conference.

"Apart from Saibari, everyone is available. After that, we’ll have to pick players who are 100 percent. For Saibari, this match comes too early for him. But he’s not ruled out for the rest of the tournament, I hope," the Moroccan coach said.

The Moroccan striker is therefore not sufficiently recovered to face Les Bleuets, but his condition is not causing any major concern.

A return still possible

While his absence against France is now official, Ismael Saibari is not ruled out for the remainder of the tournament. The Moroccan medical staff hope to have the midfielder back in the coming days so he can contribute in the next fixtures, should Morocco advance.
