Noni Madueke is attracting interest from several clubs, including Arsenal and Juventus!

Press reports close to Arsenal have revealed that Noni Madueke has become a subject of significant discussion and interest, following inquiries from several major clubs regarding his current situation with the team.

The 24-year-old player did not receive sufficient playing time last season under the management of Spaniard Mikel Arteta; therefore, a move to another team would be a logical step in search of a better position and a more significant role.

Although the player remains an important figure within the Arsenal squad, the intense competition for places could make securing a regular role very difficult.

According to information relayed by sources with knowledge of the agents' world, CaughtOffside understands that Madueke has emerged as a target that both Atlético Madrid and Juventus could pursue when the January window opens. The formula most likely to be used, should anything materialise, would be a loan arrangement, with the possibility of a purchase option being attached.

Nothing in the way of official talks has reportedly been initiated at this stage. Even so, those at Atlético apparently regard the England international as someone whose speed and willingness to run directly at opponents could sharpen Diego Simeone's attacking options.

Over at Juventus, the feeling is said to be that the player's capacity to go past defenders in duels, along with the added variation he could bring to the right-hand side, makes him an appealing proposition.

Potential departure next January

From Madueke's point of view, a temporary switch might well be a sensible route to take. He has now reached 24, a point in a player's development where every season carries real weight, and he simply cannot afford to let a whole campaign slip by while only featuring in the odd match here and there.

Arsenal, though, would be wise not to act hastily. Allowing their attacking options to thin out halfway through a season in which they are still fighting on multiple fronts could prove costly.

What Madueke brings is not easily replaced. He is left-footed, possesses genuine pace, shows aggression when isolated against a defender, and looks comfortable when cutting infield from the right. As injuries begin to mount and the fixture list grows ever more crowded, those very attributes could turn out to be worth their weight in gold.
