This Monday, Ipswich Town officially announced the signing of Abdoul Ouattara.

The English club continues its ambitious transfer window with the arrival of Abdoul Ouattara from Strasbourg. A true product of the Alsatian academy—which he joined in 2018 at just 13 years old—the young Ivorian international leaves Racing after 62 appearances across all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists. He will now continue his career at Portman Road.

With this move, Abdoul Ouattara becomes one of Ipswich Town's numerous summer signings. The club's transfer window has already seen the arrivals of Saša Lukić, Issa Diop, and Chuba Akpom. Ouattara won't be the only player making the switch from Strasbourg to Portman Road either, as Julio Enciso also completed his move to Ipswich this Monday.

Both players will reunite with Gary O’Neil, who coached them last season in Alsace.
