Official: AC Milan has found its new coach!
AC Milan has officially secured its new manager. The Lombardy club has set its sights on Portuguese tactician Rúben Amorim, who will take the helm of the Rossoneri for the coming seasons.
AC Milan entrusts its future to Rúben Amorim
Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Rúben Amorim has signed his contract with AC Milan after all details of the deal were finalized.
The new Milan boss has committed until June 2028. His contract runs for two seasons with an option for a further year extension. All administrative formalities have been completed and the official documents have been signed.
The Portuguese coach thus succeeds Massimiliano Allegri and will be tasked with restoring AC Milan to the forefront, both on the domestic and European stage.
In a message posted on his (X) account, the Italian journalist announced:
"Understand Rúben Amorim has signed his contract as new AC Milan head coach until June 2028.
The agreement is valid for two years with one more season as option, as always reported.
