Official: Hervé Koffi returns to Lens

Hervé Koffi has brilliantly reignited his career during his loan spell at SCO Angers. But, he is now officially heading back to Lens.

The goalkeeper was one of the standout performers in his position in Ligue 1 and played a key role in securing Angers' comfortable survival. Angers would have loved to keep him, but according to Foot Mercato, the club is unable to meet the €4.5 million fee demanded by Lens.

The Burkinabè shot-stopper will therefore return to the Sang et Or, where he remains under contract until 2028.
