Official: Serge Aurier signs with RC Lens as coach

Having come up through the ranks at La Gaillette, Serge Aurier is set to return to RC Lens this summer, this time as a coach.

Several years after leaving his boyhood club, former Ivorian international Serge Aurier—who has played over 400 professional matches—comes back now in a role focused on mentoring the next generation.

"Between development and guidance. A true Made in Gaillette product, decorated with more than 400 matches at the professional level, Serge Aurier is making his return to La Gaillette Gervais Martel. The former Ivorian international will share his experience with the U15s as assistant coach.", announced the French club.

The Ivorian defender will join the U15 coaching staff as assistant coach. This marks a new chapter for Serge Aurier, who will be able to bring his elite-level experience to the young Blood and Gold and help foster their development at La Gaillette.
