Official: Yan Diomandé joins Real Madrid

The transfer saga is finally over! Yan Diomandé has officially become a Real Madrid player.

After lengthy negotiations, Real Madrid has reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for the transfer of Yan Diomandé, with a fee of €125 million plus €15 million in bonuses, €10 million of which are easily attainable. The Ivorian international has signed a contract until 2031, making him the most expensive signing in Real Madrid's history, surpassing Jude Bellingham.

"RB Leipzig and Real Madrid have reached an agreement over the transfer of Yan Diomandé. With 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 official matches, Yan made a name for himself across Europe during his first season for RB Leipzig. Now, the 19-year-old joins Spain's record champions. The breakout star of the 2025/2026 Bundesliga season, Yan Diomandé won over all of Germany, establishing himself as the league's top rookie and dazzling with his speed and technical prowess. His single season at RB Leipzig, where he tallied 12 goals and 8 assists in the Bundesliga, caught the attention of Europe's biggest clubs, including Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid.

"Real Madrid CF and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Yan Diomande, who will be tied to our club for the next seven seasons, until June 30, 2033." announced the Spanish club when making the deal official.
