OM confirms its tour in Côte d'Ivoire for the 2026 Summer Tour
Olympique de Marseille has officially confirmed its trip to Côte d'Ivoire from July 15 to 18, as part of its 2026 Summer Tour and in partnership with Sublime Côte d'Ivoire.
In a joint statement with Sublime Côte d'Ivoire, OM revealed a new stage in its summer preparations. The first team will head to Côte d'Ivoire from July 15 to 18, a stopover that forms part of a partnership with the national tourism development program run by the Ivorian Ministry of Tourism and Leisure.
A program mixing football and promoting tourism
Beyond the purely sporting aspect, this trip will be a true event for local fans. The Marseille club will multiply its activities: press conference, gala dinner, open training session for the public, Meet & Greet, social initiatives, sightseeing tours, and a gala match whose details will be announced later.
The Ivorian Minister of Tourism and Leisure, Siandou Fofana, welcomed this visit with enthusiasm:
“The arrival of Olympique de Marseille is much more than a sporting tour. It reflects our ambition to make Côte d'Ivoire a leading destination for tourism, leisure, and major events, while offering people and football fans a unique experience marked by sharing and friendliness.”
For his part, OM president Stéphane Richard emphasized the special bond between the club and this country:
“This tour is an important moment in our summer preparations, but also a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with our many Ivorian supporters. Côte d'Ivoire holds a special place in the history of Olympique de Marseille. The partnership we have established with Sublime Côte d'Ivoire reflects our desire to build a lasting relationship (…) We are delighted and eager to meet OM fans in Côte d'Ivoire.”
