OM: fired, Habib Beye breaks his silence

At the start of the week, OM announced the departure of Habib Beye and the arrival of Bruno Genesio as his replacement.

Brought in February after Roberto De Zerbi's exit, the former Rennes coach failed to leave a lasting impression in the club's history. On his Instagram account, the Senegalese coach expressed how grateful he was to have fulfilled his dream.

"My adventure ends here but it was a real privilege to be the coach of Olympique de Marseille, and I want to thank you, the supporters, for your passion and your support. To all the club staff I had the pleasure to work with, as well as my entire coaching team who stood by me, I want to express my utmost admiration and gratitude. To my players, THANK YOU, because we stayed together, united, and strong until the very end of our journey to qualify the club for European competition. Thank you, Marseille." he wrote.
