Paris Saint-Germain improves its offer for Mika Godts!
Paris Saint-Germain are facing a genuine possibility of seeing Bradley Barcola exit the club, with the winger seemingly already halfway out the door. Should the Frenchman move on, the reigning European champions have reportedly set their sights on 21-year-old Belgian winger Mika Godts of Ajax as his potential successor.
Paris Saint-Germain want to complete the Mika Godts deal!
PSG are hoping to complete Mika Godts's transfer this week, per L'Équipe via TransferFeed. Fabrizio Romano, meanwhile, reports the club will make a new offer to Ajax after their Super Cup match against Europa League winners Aston Villa. Romano posted on X: "Paris Saint-Germain plan to return to direct talks over Mika Godts deal after the Super Cup."
It is worth noting that PSG have already tabled a €40 million bid, with an additional €5 million in add-ons, to Ajax. That proposal, however, was dismissed out of hand by Ajax technical director Jordi Cruijff, who deemed it insufficient and refused to engage in negotiations unless the French club returned with a more serious and improved offer. The Eredivisie side are believed to value Godts in the region of €60 million to €65 million.
