Portugal: José Mourinho issues a strong denial

On Wednesday evening, Cristiano Ronaldo left the Portugal camp. His future now appears further than ever from the national team. After words were attributed to José Mourinho in the affair involving Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portugal national team, he denied this on his Instagram account. “So much information about my comments on the FPF and the manager’s situation. Fake News. No comment,” he wrote.

Now, life goes on in the national team without the Lusitanian star. It was learned on Thursday that Ronaldo’s iconic No. 7 shirt has already found a new owner: Rafael Leão. O Correo da Manha also mentioned the captain’s armband.

Two players are in contention to replace CR7. They are Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva. Jorge Jesus will choose between the two, notably for tonight’s match against Denmark.
