PSG: Ibrahim Mbaye shines ahead of AFCON 2025

Ibrahim Mbaye continues to make his mark at Paris Saint-Germain. At just 17 years old, the striker played a decisive role in the 3-2 victory over Metz, providing two crucial assists.

Already turning heads in recent weeks, Mbaye is making the most of Luis Enrique’s trust, as the coach isn’t afraid to give young talents their chance. The Senegalese forward will now have the opportunity to showcase his skills on the African stage at AFCON, a pivotal milestone in his development.

Having made his official debut at just 16, Mbaye also netted his first goal for PSG in March against Saint-Étienne, becoming one of the youngest scorers in the club’s history. As his 18th birthday approaches, Ibrahim Mbaye is emerging as a talent to watch—both in Paris and with the Senegal national team.
