French media outlets have revealed in recent hours that the clash between Olympique de Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain, scheduled for this Sunday evening as part of the fifth round of Ligue 1, could be postponed.

According to the newspaper L'Équipe, the big match in French football is under threat due to violent thunderstorms forecast for the region. The Bouches-du-Rhône department has been placed on orange alert by Météo-France, with predictions of intense rainfall and storms.
Total precipitation could reach between 60 and 80 liters per square meter, and in some areas even up to 100 or 120 liters.
At this stage, no official decision has been made regarding a possible postponement of the match.
On the field, PSG have started their Ligue 1 campaign perfectly with four wins from four, putting them at the top of the table with 12 points. OM, meanwhile, sit seventh with 6 points.
