Real Madrid: Antonio Rüdiger extends contract until 2027
Real Madrid officially announced this Tuesday the contract extension of Antonio Rüdiger. The German defender is now tied to the Madrid club until June 30, 2027.
Having arrived on a free transfer from Chelsea in the summer of 2022, Rüdiger quickly established himself as one of the pillars of the Merengue defense thanks to his experience, leadership, and consistent performances at the highest level.
A strategic extension
This renewal had become a top priority for Madrid's management. At 33, the German international continues to deliver at a high level and remains a key figure in the locker room. The new deal was signed in the presence of his representatives. The agreement also received the approval of coach José Mourinho, who counts on the defender to mentor the squad's younger players.
With this new contract, Antonio Rüdiger will continue his adventure at Real Madrid at least until 2027.
