Real Madrid: Antonio Rüdiger is eager for José Mourinho
Currently in the United States to compete in the 2026 World Cup with Germany, Antonio Rüdiger spoke about Real Madrid and their new manager, José Mourinho.
Recently extended for another year, the German defender is about to work under a new head coach: José Mourinho. The former Chelsea player can’t wait to meet the Special One.
"Regarding Mourinho, I can’t say much more, but I’m very excited. It’s finally happening, I’m going to play under his management. In the past, there were many conversations with him, but for one reason or another, it never came together. That’s why I’m even happier to welcome him here. Last year was tough for me, especially physically. I had to battle injuries, but I managed to come back. Madrid is practically my home. I feel great here, my family feels great here, and that’s why I never really considered anything else. I just wanted to get back to my best to earn my new contract. And I did it," said the German defender.
