Real Madrid: Éder Militão returns to team training
Spanish club Real Madrid have received good news with Éder Militão’s return to team training. The Brazilian defender, who has been sidelined for several weeks, has taken another step towards returning to competition.
Militão resumes training with the squad
Éder Militão took part in his first team training session with his teammates on Monday. The return opens the way for his imminent return to the pitch.
According to the daily Marca, the Brazilian defender is expected to return to competition during October, after the next international break. His return should nevertheless be gradual.
Militão underwent surgery on April 28 after suffering a knee tendon injury that also ruled him out of the 2026 World Cup with Brazil.
The Real Madrid defender has also suffered two anterior cruciate ligament ruptures in recent years, each resulting in a lengthy period on the sidelines.
Real Madrid will then return to La Liga with an away match at Getafe before facing FC Barcelona in the Clásico on October 25.
