Real Madrid: Endrick will stay
Despite being sidelined by fierce competition at Real Madrid this summer, just as he was last season, Endrick seemed poised for another loan move. But the Brazilian international won’t be going anywhere.
The Real Madrid striker had set conditions that were compatible with AS Roma and Aston Villa, his two main suitors. However, on Monday evening, daily newspaper AS reported a dramatic twist. At the request of José Mourinho, the Brazilian will ultimately remain in the Spanish capital.

The Madrid coach, impressed by his performances during pre-season, believes Endrick can play a key role either as a central striker or on the right wing. This decision is fully backed by club president Florentino Pérez, who is on the same page. Meanwhile, the talented youngster who spent last winter on loan at Olympique Lyonnais has accepted his coach’s decision. Endrick feels ready to take on the challenge, even with Kylian Mbappé and new signing Carlos Espi competing for the striker’s spot.
It’s worth noting that Endrick isn’t ruling out a potential loan move in the second half of the season if his minutes at Real prove insufficient.
