Real Madrid: "It's always been my dream," says Yan Diomandé

Arriving at Real Madrid just a few days ago from RB Leipzig for €140 million, bonuses included, Yan Diomandé spoke out this Tuesday.

The Ivorian international forward became, upon his arrival in the Spanish capital, the most expensive transfer in Real Madrid history. Before making his highly anticipated debut in the famous white shirt, Yan Diomandé expressed his pride at joining "the biggest club in the world."

"I am happy and proud because it's always been my dream. Ever since I was little, I've wanted to play for the biggest club in the world. And today, I'm here. I'm proud, and I make my family proud. Everyone wants to be here—I know how lucky I am. I want to share my joy with everyone and contribute to the team's success. I thank the coach who wanted me here, I thank the club. I have great players as teammates and I will learn a lot from them," said the former Leganes player in an interview with Real Madrid TV.
