Nico Schlotterbeck's name has been linked with Real Madrid in recent hours. An offer is expected to be made soon.

Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, is preparing a proposal for a defender. This comes after already securing the signings of Denzel Dumfries and Ibrahima Konaté.

According to Bild, José Mourinho has specifically asked his boss to bring in Nico Schlotterbeck. The German defender recently extended his contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2031. That hasn't stopped Los Blancos from pursuing the player, who dreams of playing in Madrid and whose release clause is set between €50 and €60 million.
