Kylian Mbappé has revealed his biggest dream for the rest of his career, and it does not concern the Ballon d’Or.

Kylian Mbappé has been speaking out frequently in recent weeks, particularly about his candidacy for the 2026 Ballon d’Or. But when asked to name the biggest dream he still wants to achieve, the Real Madrid striker did not choose an individual award.

Asked by the German daily Bild about the goal he absolutely wants to achieve before the end of his career, the captain of the France national team answered directly:

" Win the Champions League. "

99 matches and already 71 goals in the Champions League

A dream that may seem surprising given his outstanding record in the competition. Mbappé already has 99 matches and 71 goals in the Champions League. He is therefore fifth in the all-time ranking of the competition’s top scorers.

Last season, the Frenchman even finished as the top scorer in the 2025-2026 edition with 15 goals in 11 matches. Mbappé had already explained that winning the Champions League with Real Madrid mattered more to him than the Ballon d’Or.

A lost final with PSG in 2020

Despite his impressive statistics, Mbappé has still never lifted the trophy. His best run came in the 2019-2020 season, when he reached the final with Paris Saint-Germain. The Parisian club lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich in Lisbon.

Since then, the Frenchman has enjoyed several strong runs without managing to go all the way. Now settled in Madrid, his objective is clear: to finally add the Champions League to a trophy cabinet already marked by the 2018 World Cup and numerous domestic titles
