Real Madrid: Manchester United moves for Eduardo Camavinga

At Real Madrid, Eduardo Camavinga is already being urged to pack his bags this summer. The French international midfielder could be heading for Manchester United.

At the Santiago Bernabéu, Camavinga raised eyebrows during the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Bayern Munich. Coming on as a substitute, the Frenchman picked up two yellow cards in just a few minutes, leaving his teammates down to ten men. As a result, Real Madrid eventually buckled and missed out on qualification.

Since then, Eduardo Camavinga has been encouraged to seek a new challenge. Manchester City showed interest for a while, but nothing materialized. Furthermore, the arrival of José Mourinho hasn’t changed Camavinga’s situation at Real Madrid.

According to The Athletic, Manchester United have shown interest in the Frenchman. The Red Devils are searching for a top-level player capable of operating both in midfield and at left-back to challenge veteran Luke Shaw. There was talk of Lewis Hall (Newcastle) and recently the name Myles Lewis-Skelly has surfaced, but Manchester United are reportedly not especially interested, especially with Arsenal offering €53 million for him.
