Real Madrid: Mbappé injured, José Mourinho has identified his replacement

Injured, Kylian Mbappé should be fit for the match against Villarreal on October 10. However, there is no guarantee that he will be at 100%.

For the Frenchman, Real Madrid will be cautious and take no risks. With this in mind, José Mourinho and his staff are now working on options to replace the France international. On Tuesday, AS briefly mentioned the names of Carlos Espi, signed this summer to be Mbappé’s understudy, and Jude Bellingham, who would play as a false nine.

Once again this Wednesday, the Madrid-based outlet elaborated and revealed the Special One’s plans for his attack. AS reports that the Portuguese coach does not want to change his 4-2-3-1 formation.

The Special One is seriously considering the Bellingham option. Arda Güler, who has been very good this season, would take his place in midfield. Mourinho also has two more obvious solutions: starting Carlos Espi or Endrick up front. The former has performed fairly well when Mourinho has called upon him.
