On Wednesday, Vinicius Jr publicly apologized for his disrespectful behavior during the Clasico, notably forgetting to mention his coach, Xabi Alonso. In recent hours, the Spanish manager has responded.

The press was quick to point out that in his apology message, Vinicius did not mention his coach, Xabi Alonso. Media outlets covering Los Merengues have been reporting for some time that the relationship between the two men is very tense.

Meanwhile, El Chiringuito de Jugones shed light on what happened in the dressing room on Wednesday, when Madrid returned to training. Vinicius Jr also apologized to his teammates and the staff. However, he was met with a rather cold response from Xabi Alonso. "If someone wants to complain about something, do it in private, not in front of everyone," the Real Madrid coach told the Brazilian, addressing all the players.

The outlet adds that the atmosphere was a bit tense prior to Vini's public statement, but the player's apology ultimately relieved everyone, and the training session went smoothly afterwards.
