Riyad Mahrez is attracting Turkish interest: Will the Algerian experience something new?

Riyad Mahrez has emerged as a serious target for Turkish giants Fenerbahçe SK, who are eager to pull off a major signing in the upcoming summer transfer window. According to Nexus Sports, the Istanbul-based club has set its sights on the Algerian winger as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

The former Manchester City and Leicester City star remains a reliable and proven talent on the right flank. Now playing for Al Ahli Saudi FC, Mahrez continues to deliver impactful offensive performances, showing no signs of slowing down. Despite being under contract with the Saudi club until 2027, the 34-year-old hasn't completely ruled out the possibility of making a return to European football.

This potential availability has caught the attention of Fenerbahçe's leadership. However, any deal would be financially complicated, given Mahrez's current wages and contract situation. For now, no concrete progress has been made, but the file is being closely monitored within the club.
