Santos: Neymar Jr heading towards Lionel Messi at Inter Miami

Neymar Jr is approaching a turning point in his journey with Santos. He could soon be on his way to Inter Miami.

With his contract set to expire at the end of 2026, Neymar Jr recently cast doubt over his future and even hinted at possible retirement a few days ago. "At the end of my contract, I'll consider whether to stay at Santos, move elsewhere, or retire from football altogether. I honestly don’t know what I’ll do." he stated.

His father, Neymar Sr, was quick to calm things down, assuring fans that his son would continue playing football. However, he didn’t specify where Neymar Jr might go next. In the last few hours, Felipe Melo has let the cat out of the bag.

"I spoke to a friend who gave me some news from Santos. He told me Neymar was going to play in Miami. Starting in January, Neymar will join Miami. If this happens, I’ll have been the first to break the news here. Let’s wait and see what happens." he revealed. Ney could then reunite with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, who has temporarily put his career on hold, to reform the legendary MSN trio.
