The former Napoli defender still leads the salary rankings at the Saudi football powerhouse, pocketing an impressive annual wage of 25 million euros.
He outpaces all the stars at Riyadh’s flagship club, notably including new signing Darwin Núñez, who takes home a handsome 15 million euros per year.

For the record, the “rock” of the Lions was earning 17.4 million euros per year during his previous stint with Chelsea in the 2022-2023 season.
It’s also worth noting that Kalidou Koulibaly’s contract with the London club runs until 2026, while his market value is currently estimated at 6 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
