Scotland: Aaron Tshibola extends his contract with Kilmarnock until 2027

The Congolese international midfielder Aaron Tshibola will stay at Kilmarnock for an additional season. The Scottish club has officially announced the contract extension for the 31-year-old, who is now tied to the Killies until June 2027.

Having returned to Kilmarnock on the final day of the last winter transfer window, Tshibola quickly established himself as a key player in Neil McCann’s squad. His experience and commanding presence in midfield played a crucial role in the club’s strong finish to the season, ensuring their place in the Scottish top flight.

Highly regarded by the fans, the Congolese international is now embarking on his fifth spell in Kilmarnock colours. Since his debut with the club, he has already racked up 92 appearances.

After competing in the World Cup with the Democratic Republic of Congo, Aaron Tshibola has reunited with his teammates in training to prepare for the 2026-2027 season. He will retain the number 36 shirt for the new campaign.
