Scotland: Celtic wants to extend Kelechi Iheanacho's stay

According to available information, Celtic has offered him a two-year contract with a weekly salary of £35,000, plus bonuses that could reach up to £780,000.

Martin O'Neill confirms the offer

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has confirmed that an official offer has indeed been made to the former Leicester City forward.

"There is an offer on the table at the moment. We will see how things develop."

The Scottish coach clarified that the decision now rests with Kelechi Iheanacho. Having scored seven goals in the 2025-2026 season, the Nigerian was crucial in the Hoops' championship run, which explains the club's determination to keep him.
