Sergio Busquets takes his first steps in coaching with Barça
The former Spanish international, Sergio Busquets, aged 38, is embarking on a new chapter in the world of football. The ex-midfielder of FC Barcelona has joined the Barça Atlètic staff as assistant coach to Juliano Belletti.

Drawing on his vast experience at the highest level, Busquets is now putting his expertise to use for FC Barcelona's reserve team. At the same time, he is continuing his studies to obtain his coaching licenses and preparing for his new path on the touchline.
The former Barça captain had already expressed his desire to move into coaching after hanging up his boots.
His deep understanding of the game and tactical mastery should allow him to pass on his experience to the young Catalan players.
Busquets's return to FC Barcelona comes three years after his departure from the first team. The midfielder spent 15 seasons in the Blaugrana shirt before joining Inter Miami, where he played for two and a half years until announcing his retirement.
During his illustrious career with Barça, Sergio Busquets made 722 appearances, scoring 18 goals and providing 46 assists. He also won 32 trophies, including 9 La Liga titles, 7 Copa del Rey trophies, and 7 Spanish Supercups.
