Stoke City: Djibril Soumare signs three-year contract
Djibril Soumare is set to continue his English adventure—not with Sheffield United, but with Stoke City, who have officially announced the signing of the 23-year-old Senegalese midfielder on a three-year deal.
After a successful loan spell at Sheffield United, where he made 25 appearances in the Championship last season, the Dakar-born midfielder convinced Stoke City.
Trained at Sail Atlantic FC, Soumare moved to Sporting Braga in 2022. He worked his way up through the youth and U23 ranks before breaking into the first team in the 2023-2024 season. A Senegal U23 international, he arrives at Stoke with English league experience and the ambition to make his mark.
