Swiss Super League: Chadrack Akolo is back!

Chadrack Akolo made headlines this weekend by finding the net with FC St. Gallen while away at FC Lucerne. The Congolese forward scored his team's only goal, securing a precious point (1-1) in this Swiss Super League encounter.

Starting the match, Akolo quickly made his presence felt. While Lucerne opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, the former Stuttgart player responded promptly by equalizing in the 9th. A quick goal that set the score for the remainder of the match.

Substituted in the 67th minute, the 30-year-old marksman thus records his eighth goal of the season, ending a seven-match goal drought.

This goal also holds symbolic value: it is his first in 2025, with his last dating back to December 15, 2024, against Zurich.
