FC Servette: The Promising Start of Alioune Ndoye in Switzerland
Alioune Ndoye quickly adapts to his new environment. Arriving on loan from the Latvian club Valmiera in January 2025, the Senegalese forward is already making a name for himself with his performances in the Swiss Super League.
The Valmiera player made his debut with Servette FC on February 16 against Grasshopper Club Zurich (2-1). On February 23, during the 24th round of the Super League, Alioune Ndoye made a notable entry by scoring a brace against FC Winterthur. Replacing Joseph Nonge in the 64th minute, he equalized three minutes later before sealing the victory at the end of the match (3-1).
3 goals in 5 matches in the Swiss Super League
On March 9, 2025, against FC Zurich, Alioune Ndoye confirmed his good form by scoring his team's third goal in stoppage time (3-1). In five appearances for Servette FC, Alioune Ndoye has scored 3 goals. With these promising beginnings, the 23-year-old Senegalese is off to a flying start in Switzerland. This is not entirely surprising.
Before joining Servette, Ndoye played for Valmiera FC in Latvia, where he distinguished himself by scoring 22 goals the previous season. He finished as Valmiera's top scorer for the 2024 season.
