Eintracht Frankfurt is keen to bring Arnaud Kalimuendo back from Nottingham Forest!
After moving to Nottingham Forest, the French forward did not receive much appreciation there in England.
Press reports have revealed that Eintracht Frankfurt wants to bring him back to the Bundesliga to utilize his services in January. Other reports indicate that the German club is not expected to face any difficulty in persuading the player to return to their ranks this winter.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting management is working on bringing Arnaud Kalimuendo back to the club
Eintracht Frankfurt's sporting director, Timmo Hardung, has reportedly already begun laying the groundwork to bring the 24-year-old forward back to the club. The two sides are said to be exploring the possibility of a fresh loan arrangement — a prospect that also appeals to the former Stade Rennais striker, who is eager to find regular playing time again.
The rationale behind this move lies in the player's difficult situation in England. Since the start of the season, Kalimuendo has featured in only five matches across all competitions for Nottingham Forest, failing to establish himself within the attacking rotation.
His previous spell at Frankfurt during the second half of the 2025/26 campaign, however, had been convincing. In 19 appearances, he scored six goals and provided one assist. A return to Germany could therefore represent a valuable opportunity for the player to revitalize his career.
Having joined Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2025, the 24-year-old centre-forward is under contract with the English club until 30 June 2030. His market value is estimated at €20 million, and Arnaud Kalimuendo earns an annual salary of €3,618,734.
