Zinedine Zidane has selected 23 players for France’s final Nations League group matches, following an unbeaten opening international window in charge.

Zinedine Zidane announced his second France squad on Friday, November 6, naming 23 players for the final two UEFA Nations League group-stage games. Les Bleus travel to Italy on Thursday, November 12, in Milan, before hosting Türkiye in Bordeaux on Sunday, November 15. Both matches kick off at 8:45 p.m. French time.

Five changes from Zidane's first France squad

A comparison with his first squad announced on September 18 reveals five changes. Malo Gusto, Leny Yoro, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Pablo Pagis and Marcus Thuram are included, while Jules Koundé, Maxence Lacroix, Manu Koné, Ousmane Dembélé and Estéban Lepaul are absent from the new selection. The squad still contains 23 players. Pagis earns his first senior call-up, with Tchouaméni and Thuram returning after missing the original September squad.

France's full squad by position

Goalkeepers: Mike Maignan, Guillaume Restes, Robin Risser.

Defenders: Andy Diouf, Malo Gusto, Jérémy Jacquet, Pierre Kalulu, Ibrahima Konaté, Adrien Truffert, Dayot Upamecano, Leny Yoro.

Midfielders: Eduardo Camavinga, Rayan Cherki, Lucas Da Cunha, Adrien Rabiot, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Warren Zaïre-Emery.

Forwards: Bradley Barcola, Désiré Doué, Kylian Mbappé, Michael Olise, Pablo Pagis, Marcus Thuram.

Three wins and a draw in Zidane's first international window

The former Real Madrid manager made an unbeaten start to life as France coach. His side won 1-0 away to Türkiye on September 25 and 1-0 in Belgium on September 28, drew 1-1 with Italy on October 2, and then secured a dramatic 4-1 comeback victory over Belgium on October 5. The four-match record stands at three wins, one draw, seven goals scored and two conceded.

France lead Nations League Group A1 with 10 points from four games, ahead of Italy (7), Belgium (6) and Türkiye (0). The two remaining matches, listed in the competition schedule, will determine their final group position ahead of the quarter-finals. The trip to Milan is a major test in the battle to finish top.
