Belgium's results from the previous international break

During the previous international window, spanning late September and early October, Belgium played four Nations League matches. They began with a 2-0 away victory over Italy on September 25, followed by a 1-0 home defeat to France on September 28. Van Bommel's side then beat Türkiye 3-0 on October 2, before losing 4-1 away to France on October 5.

The Red Devils therefore recorded two wins and two defeats, scoring six goals and conceding five across their four fixtures. Belgium sit third in League A Group 1 with six points, behind France (10) and Italy (7), while Türkiye are bottom without a point. The final two matches in November will determine Belgium's finishing position in the group.

The appointment of Mark van Bommel as Belgium head coach followed a change in management after the 2026 World Cup.
