Official: Jack Lahne joins Wolfsberger AC
Jack Lahne has found a new club. The 24-year-old Zambian striker has officially joined Wolfsberger AC. The Austrian club confirmed his arrival on its official website. He has signed a contract until the summer of 2028.
Lahne returns to Austria
After leaving IF Brommapojkarna for Amiens SC in the summer of 2019, Jack Lahne was unable to establish himself in the French league over the long term. Following several loan spells, he eventually left the Picardy club in the summer of 2024. In January 2025, the Zambian joined Austria Lustenau in Austria. He scored nine goals in 29 league matches last season before leaving the club this summer.
In recent months, Lahne had returned to Sweden, where he was training with Nordic United. He will now return to Austria with Wolfsberger AC.
“I can’t wait to play in front of our supporters”
Wolfsberger AC’s new striker was delighted to have completed his move. “I’m very happy that my move to Wolfsberg has gone through,” Lahne said on the club’s official website. He also revealed that he had watched the match against Sturm Graz from the stands before signing.
“Now I want to help the team as soon as possible. I really can’t wait to play my first matches in front of our own supporters!” With a contract through 2028, Jack Lahne is embarking on a new chapter in his career. He now hopes to put his experience and finishing ability at Wolfsberger AC’s service.
