An important match in AFCON 2027
The fixture is pencilled in for Thursday 12 November at the Essipong Sports Stadium, with kick-off slated for 3 pm GMT. For this encounter, CAF has turned to Andre Onesime Kolissala-Mbangui of the Central African Republic, who will referee a clash that carries real weight for two sides eager to rediscover their footing.
Working alongside him will be his fellow countryman Bozoy Oriya Zaoubaye Wilfried as first assistant, while Juan Ngua Nguema Eleng of Equatorial Guinea takes the role of second assistant. Gerson Adolfo Mico Esono Angono, also of Equatorial Guinea, has been appointed fourth official.
Ghana's Black Stars are desperate to steady the ship after heavy defeats on the opening two matchdays. With zero points to their name, they sit rooted to the bottom of Group C.
The coming two matchdays, then, look set to make or break the Black Stars' campaign.
