The 10 most valuable free agents of the 2026 summer transfer window
Despite several weeks having passed since the start of the summer transfer window, hundreds of players whose contracts have expired still find themselves without a club with just one month left before the market closes.
According to figures from the website "Transfermarkt," Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović tops the list of the most sought-after free agents available on the transfer market after his contract ended with his club.
Vlahović, valued at €35 million, spent four seasons with Juventus, but recurring injuries, especially during the last campaign, hastened the end of his adventure with the Old Lady.
The top 10 also features Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, England's Jadon Sancho, as well as two Saudi Pro League standouts: Ivorian Franck Kessié of Al Ahli and Brazilian Fabinho of Al Ittihad, who occupy seventh and eighth place respectively.
