Como have made a definitive decision to secure Nico Paz on a permanent basis, with the Italian club reaching an agreement with Real Madrid to buy out the 21‑year‑old attacking midfielder, according to Fabrizio Romano.

While the exact details of the deal have not been disclosed, Romano had previously reported that Real Madrid were demanding at least €60 million for the player.

Paz initially joined Como from Real Madrid in 2024 for €6 million. However, following a sensational season, Los Blancos exercised a €7 million buy‑back clause to bring him back to the Spanish capital. Now, Como have moved to trigger their own purchase option, signing Paz on a permanent deal.
