The friendly match between Tunisia and Mali, initially scheduled for Saturday, 3 October 2026, at the Hamadi Agrebi Stadium in Radès, has officially been cancelled.
This decision was taken following consultations between the two parties and after discussions with the Tunisian head coach. The Tunisian and Malian football federations thus reached an agreement regarding a change to the schedule.
The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) expressed its regret following the cancellation of the match, while highlighting the close and historic ties that unite it with its Malian counterpart.
For its part, the Malian Football Federation (FEMAFOOT) thanked the supporters for their understanding and continued support for the Eagles.
Mali will ultimately face Morocco
Mali quickly found a new opponent for this international break. The Eagles will ultimately face Morocco in a friendly on Sunday, 4 October 2026.
The match will be played at the Grand Stade de Tanger, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 GMT.
This clash will serve as preparation for both national teams ahead of their upcoming international fixtures, following the cancellation of the friendly match that was initially scheduled to pit Morocco against Ghana.
