Three departures made official at Old Trafford
In an official statement, Manchester United confirmed the exits of Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho. The club paid tribute to their time in the famous red shirt: “Casemiro spent four seasons at the club, playing 160 matches and scoring 26 goals. He played a major role in helping United win the 2023 Carabao Cup (...) The Brazil national team captain also lifted the Emirates FA Cup in 2024.”
However, the club's management also acknowledged the contributions of the other two departing players. “Tyrell Malacia joined United in 2022 and made 50 first-team appearances,” while “Jadon Sancho arrived at Old Trafford in 2021 (...) The winger made 83 appearances for the club.” The statement concluded: “Everyone at the club would like to thank Casemiro, Tyrell, and Jadon for their contributions to Manchester United and wish them the best of luck for the future.” According to several media outlets, Casemiro could now be headed to Inter Miami.
