Algeria - Bolivia: new twist regarding the match broadcast! (Official)
A new dramatic turn has emerged regarding the Algeria - Bolivia match. While some media had announced that ENTV would broadcast the game on its social media platforms, the national broadcaster has now set the record straight with an official statement.
The friendly encounter between Algeria and Bolivia was already scheduled to be played behind closed doors, with no media presence and no TV coverage. However, fresh reports in recent hours sparked excitement among the Greens’ supporters. The outlet WinWin claimed the match would in fact be streamed live on ENTV’s official Facebook page.
However, Algerian public television quickly denied this report. In a statement released on Wednesday morning, ENTV confirmed that there would be no broadcast of the match, neither on its TV channels nor on its digital platforms.
ENTV clarified as follows:
"Algerian Television announces the non-broadcast of the World Cup 2026 preparatory friendly between the national team and Bolivia, scheduled for tomorrow at 1 a.m. at the University Stadium in Kansas City. This applies to both terrestrial channels and the El Aouab platform, as the stadium is a training ground and does not offer the technical conditions required to capture and broadcast the match according to the technical standards expected for the national team."
Vladimir Petkovic’s men will therefore play their final warm-up in complete secrecy.
