Feyenoord vs Inter Official Lineups: Hadj Moussa and Targhalline Start as Diouf Misses Out
Feyenoord and Inter Milan have confirmed their starting lineups for Tuesday's UEFA Champions League encounter in Rotterdam, with Algeria international Anis Hadj Moussa and Morocco midfielder Oussama Targhalline both starting for the Dutch side.
The Matchday 4 fixture takes place at De Kuip on 3 November with kick off scheduled for 20:00 GMT.
According to Inter Milan's official match centre, Feyenoord coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst has selected a 4-3-3 formation while Cristian Chivu has opted for a 3-5-2 system.

Feyenoord have selected the following eleven players:

- Midfielders: Gjivai Zechiël, Charles Vanhoutte, Oussama Targhalline

The inclusion of Hadj Moussa and Targhalline provides Feyenoord with two important North African internationals in their starting lineup.
Hadj Moussa will operate on the right side of the attack while Targhalline offers defensive stability and passing options in midfield.
Meanwhile, Malian international Gaoussou Diarra begins among the substitutes.

Cristian Chivu has named the following eleven players:
Formation: 3-5-2
- Goalkeeper: Josep Martínez
- Defenders: Yann Bisseck, Manuel Akanji, Carlos Augusto.
- Midfielders: Djed Spence, Nicolò Barella, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Piotr Zieliński, Federico Dimarco

One of the notable selection decisions concerns Andy Diouf.
The French international of Senegalese descent starts on the bench, with Chivu preferring Djed Spence in the right wing-back position.
Ivory Coast international Ange-Yoan Bonny is also available among Inter's substitutes, while Pio Esposito partners Marcus Thuram in attack.
Inter are without injured captain Lautaro Martínez while Alessandro Bastoni misses the encounter through suspension.
Anis Hadj Moussa leads Feyenoord's African attacking hopes
Hadj Moussa enters the encounter as one of Feyenoord's most important attacking players.
The 24 year old Algerian has already scored in this season's Champions League, finding the net during the Dutch side's 3-2 victory over Como.
His ability to beat defenders and create opportunities from wide positions could prove particularly important against Inter's three-man defensive system.
As Foot Africa previously reported, Hadj Moussa was named Feyenoord's Player of the Season for 2025/26, following a campaign in which he recorded 14 goals and seven assists.
Targhalline, meanwhile, has established himself as an important part of Feyenoord's midfield.
The Moroccan's performances have previously attracted interest from several French clubs, although he remained in Rotterdam for the Champions League campaign.
For Inter, Diouf's presence among the substitutes provides Chivu with an alternative in midfield or at wing back.
As Foot Africa previously highlighted, Diouf received his first senior France call up in September 2026, having previously attracted interest from Senegal.
