Senegal: Sadio Mané's return announced
For the November matches, Senegal coach Patrick Vieira is expected to include Sadio Mané in his squad to face Sudan.
Next Thursday, Patrick Vieira will unveil his second squad since taking charge of the Teranga Lions. For the two-legged tie against Sudan, on November 12 and 16 in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, the coach is expected to welcome back Sadio Mané.
Mané to strengthen the team
After missing the previous camp due to a physical issue, Sadio Mané is expected to return to the national team next Thursday. The former Liverpool forward did not retire from international football after the 2026 World Cup and remains a key part of Senegal's project.
The presence of the Al Nassr player would offer Vieira an additional attacking option, as well as a valuable link within a squad in transition. Iliman Ndiaye will also be available. Suspended for the first two qualifying matches, the Manchester City player then featured in the friendly won against Comoros (1-0) in Marseille.
