Transfer market: Fulham renews push for Chibuike Nwaiwu

The Chibuike Nwaiwu saga is far from over. According to multiple Turkish sources, Fulham has increased its offer in an attempt to convince Trabzonspor to part ways with their Nigerian midfielder.

After an initial bid estimated at €15 million, the English club has now surpassed the €20 million mark. Trabzonspor immediately rejected the new offer, remaining steadfast in its stance.

The Turkish club's management views Nwaiwu as one of the key pieces in their squad and is demanding a fee in excess of €30 million to even consider his departure. Some sources suggest his valuation could be between €30 and €35 million.

Despite this latest rejection, Fulham appears unwilling to walk away from the deal. The Cottagers are expected to continue negotiations in the coming weeks in hopes of reaching an agreement with Trabzonspor.

At this stage, a significant gap remains between the English offer and the Turkish club's demands, setting the stage for a transfer saga that could dominate much of the summer window.
